2 and 7.6 for optimal swimming conditions. If the pH level is too high, you’ll need to add a pH reducer to lower it. Common pH reducers include sodium bisulfate or muriatic acid. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the correct dosage based on your pool’s size and current pH level.

After adding the pH reducer, wait for several hours or, as instructed by the product label, then retest the pH level to ensure it has reached the desired range. If the pH level is still too high, you may need to repeat the process of adding pH reducer until the desired pH level is achieved. By following these steps, you can effectively lower the pH level in your swimming pool, ensuring a safe and enjoyable swimming environment for everyone.
