How to Lower PH In Your Swimming Pool

Lowering the pH level in your swimming pool is essential to maintain water quality and ensure the comfort of swimmers. Here’s how to lower pH in pool. Start by testing the pH level of your pool water using a pool water testing kit. Ideally, the pH should be between 7.

Avoid adding large quantities of chemicals in one area to prevent localized pH fluctuations. After adding the pH reducer, wait for several hours or, as instructed by the product label, then retest the pH level to ensure it has reached the desired range. If the pH level is still too high, you may need to repeat the process of adding pH reducer until the desired pH level is achieved.
